What is Galvanised fencing?

Galvanising is the process of applying a protective zinc coating to steel or iron in order to prevent rusting and other corrosion. The most common method is hot-dip galvanization, in which parts are submerged in a bath of molten zinc which forms a coating of corrosion-resistant zinc which prevents corrosive substances from reaching the more delicate part of the metal. This process allows the zinc to permanently bond to the metal, not only on the surface, but within the steel itself, making a secure and complete bond.

Steel is a strong, powerful and long-lasting material most often used for fencing and is perfect for protective security fences and gates. When combined with galvanising it will also have a much longer lifespan and require less maintenance long term. It is the perfect option for all industries like industrial and marine to coastal residential properties and provides a strong and reliable product that can be depended upon. It can also come in a variety or colours to best suit the properties surrounding and environment. You can galvanise most steel for fencing including Palisade, Garrison, Chain Mesh and Weld Mesh.
